The camp has a host of exciting activities to choose from. Game drives are the perfect way to explore this unique desert wilderness and includes possible sightings of the region’s unique concentration of wildlife, such as gemsbuck, brown hyena, aardvark, zebra, and flamingo. There is an exciting quad bike excursion through the salt pans. Walking safaris let guests commune with the camp’s friendly meerkat colony. In addition, there are cultural tours with a group of Zu/’hoasi Bushmen as they share their ancient culture. Horse safaris explore the pans the same way the missionaries and explorers did. There is even a visit to Seven Sisters, Chapman’s Baobab which is one of the three largest and oldest trees in Africa.
