There is little that can be said of Kenya that has not been said a million times over. Kenya is the country that most people associate with Africa and it serves well as a representative for the African safari industry. It is the birthplace of the traditional safari and the very name “Safari” has its Swahili origins here. The Kenyans have been doing safaris for a long time and they do them well. The guides are superb and the game viewing is incredible.
The only real challenge in Kenya is finding an experience that is intimate and not too mainstream. At Piper & Heath we align ourselves with operators that own smaller, more exclusive camps, and who offer unique more private activities. Our aim in Kenya is to offer holidays that are not typical and still give that special “Safari Feeling."
