Epacha Game Lodge

Epacha Game Lodge

After pioneering the first luxury lodge in Namibia’s Etosha National Park, safari experts at Epacha Game Lodge continue the fine tradition of combining luxury with an exceptional wildlife experience. The gate to Namibia’s largest wildlife park is only seven miles from the lodge’s front door, making it easily accessible for a variety of adventures.

With stunning bush views, the impressive main lodge area features a library, smoking room, billiard room, pool bar, and Mystique Spa. The spa’s five treatment rooms and professional staff offer a variety of popular treatments including hot-stone massages, body wraps, scrubs, manicures, pedicures, and more. The adjacent wellness spa provides sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and splash pool. A duo open-air treatment room is ideal for couples desiring to enjoy treatments together.

High-quality accommodations await guests of Epacha Game Lodge. Eighteen luxury chalets reveal beautiful landscapes from their private balconies, encouraging relaxation and convenient wildlife viewing. Each chalet offers air conditioning, neutral Victorian décor, coffee and tea bar, and en-suite bathroom with bathtub, inside shower, and outdoor shower.

The Presidential Suite, also known as the Royal Impala Lodge, offers an even more exclusive accommodation experience. This spacious lodge boasts complete privacy as well as its own lounge, dining area, kitchen, swimming pool, and barbecue.

Epacha Private Game Reserve, one of Namibia’s larger private game reserves, provides an ideal destination for morning, afternoon, and evening game drives. Endangered species including the black rhino, black-faced impala, and bat-eared fox are frequently sighted. Epacha is also home to over twenty antelope species including the rare sable antelope. The reserve is also part of the Black Rhino Custodian Program, a concerted effort to safeguard the critically endangered black rhino. Currently, fifteen healthy black rhinos reside in Epacha, with four of the females expecting in the near future.

Etosha National Park, where experienced rangers lead full or half-day game drives in specially designed vehicles, means “place of dry water.” Due to its consistent water points in the drier months, some of Africa’s most spectacular concentrations of animals call the area home. These include lion, elephant, zebra, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, black rhino, buffalo, and hyena.

Guests enjoy a variety of other exciting activities including guided game walks, clay pigeon shooting, and night game drives.
