Lebombo Lodge

Lebombo Lodge

Like the distinctive Lebombo Euphorbia tree for which it is named, the Lebombo Lodge offers unique amenities within and unprecedented views without. Enjoy the teeming wildlife from the comfort of the sweeping lodge viewing deck or from the relaxing lap pool deck. Large, white-cushioned sunbeds, sleek finishes, and natural African elements contribute to the lodge’s sophisticated, contemporary design.

The N’wanetsi concession where Lebombo Lodge is located is one of the most remote and unexplored wilderness areas in South Africa. Lebombo borders Mozambique and is situated in the eastern part of South Africa’s Kruger National Park, the second largest reserve in Africa. An unparalleled variety of both plant and animal populations are concentrated in N’wanetsi and thrive in the area’s four different eco-zones, including the “Big Five” and four notable lion prides.

The fifteen luxury suites are equipped with every amenity in mind. Glass, wood, steel, and natural elements combine for a one-of-a-kind blend of comfort and opulence. Inside, beds welcome with soft Egyptian cotton bedding and silky-soft throws. A layered lattice ceiling, en-suite bathroom and shower, mini bar and fridge, room safe, air-conditioning, overhead fans, and more complete the private indoor suite. Outside is a personal viewing deck with a shower and bath; also, guests can enjoy the opportunity to sleep outdoors on the romantically draped daybed.

The main dining area as well as the open plan lounge and bar area showcase panoramic views; traditional boma dining is also available. Other main lodge features include a swimming pool, library, spa with fully-equipped gymnasium, and internet connections.

In addition to twice-daily game drives in Land Rovers led by professional guides and trackers, guests can request guided safari walks and private game drives. Many of these trips are successful in providing guests with unrestricted views of local lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhinoceros populations. Mountain biking, archery, and shopping in the on-site boutique and gallery are other available activities.
