Breezes Beach Club & Spa

Breezes Beach Club & Spa

The family-owned Breezes Beach Club & Spa offers guests something special - a luxury resort set on an award-winning private beach. And then there is the sumptuous sleeping, dedicated hospitality, great dining, and luxurious spa treatments to name a few highlights.

Zanzibar’s international airport makes the island eminently accessible, and the resort itself will arrange for transfers. Air travel also makes it easy to visit the Serengeti and enjoy a wildlife adventure holiday.

The air-conditioned bungalows with en-suite bathrooms are spacious and elegantly decorated in shades of ivory. Clever use has been made of teak furniture and the best carvings sourced from the local craftsmen/artists. The deluxe rooms and suites are close the beach, whereas the standard rooms are slightly further away but have verandahs and garden vistas. The suites are on the top floor, with amazing views from their balconies, walk-in dressing rooms, and outdoor lounging areas.

One would expect Zanzibari influences in the menu, and one is not disappointed. The talented chefs use delicious spices in their dishes, and the seafood-lover will be in heaven with lobster dining on the beachfront on offer every day! In addition one can choose from four restaurants. The Salami Dining Room offers generous buffet breakfasts, four course dinners and theme evenings). The Sultan’s Table is a fusion of delicious Indo-Swahili cuisine. Breakers Grill is the place for a beachfront lunch with barbecue and seafood catch of the day. And Tides uniquely offers intimate beachfront dining for two!

What to do while on holiday at Breezes?

The beach, Oh the beach! This award-winning beach has it all. Beauty and privacy! Enjoy a plunge in the wonderful ocean or the calm lagoon, snorkel in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, play beach tennis on the private beach, or join a partner in some frisbee throwing. But the resort offers so much more in the way of facilities and amenities - especially the world-class spa treatments in the Frangipani Spa. And then there are all the activities at the Water Club, such as kite-surfing or sailing.

Zanzibar has a unique history with a heady mix of Arab slave-traders and merchants, spices and cuisine, all of which add to the magic of Zanzibar. Don’t neglect a visit to the ancient Stone Town, a town that echoes its past in its architecture and engages in its present in the local bazaars. Or take a spice tour to see vanilla, nutmeg, and cardamom being produced.
